Overview
We are looking for female Support Workers close to the Acomb area of York, North Yorkshire. Excellent training is provided so no experience is required, however what is important is having a passion to helping adults living with disabilities and challenging behaviours. As a Support Worker, you will be supporting a vulnerable female service user in a Supported Living setting. The role is extremely rewarding and varied, it will involve days out and helping the service user with her day to day life, such as domestic duties, cooking and managing her finances. You will help her to take part in activities and hobbies that she enjoys, including bike rides and playing snooker, helping her to achieve her personal goals which is a feeling like no other. There will also be elements of personal care involved when required.
