A proactive data-loving Finance Analyst is needed to join an established business at their office near Crediton. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join a fast-paced forward thinking company in a key role supporting the Financial Controller and wider commercial management team. Finance Analyst - The Role As part of a friendly, accounts team and working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for: Undertaking financial, stock, margin and sales analysis, providing useful insight to help shape management and business decisions. Management information analysis. Supporting month end accounting tasks. Undertaking projects as needed. Salary : £23,000 - £25,000pa depending on experience plus benefits including pension, onsite parking, ongoing support to develop skills. Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 - 5pm (37.5 hours) Start Date: Immediate start available, although not essential. Finance Analyst - The Candidate You will be a self-starter and team player with a desire to work in a growing fast paced business with recent experience of financial analysis and month end accounting duties. As you will be extracting and manipulating large amounts of data in Excel you'll need to be very comfortable using look ups, formulas and pivot tables. A superb communicator you will have effective interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport with colleagues and management across the business.
