Overview
Systems Administrator - Reading We are currently recruiting for a Linux Administrator/Systems Administrator, for one of the largest provider of technology services in the UK. In this role you will be developing and maintaining systems and network infrastructure for the ISP network of Simply Hosting and Servers, and you'll be working with configuration management software revision control, and continuous integration software. Benefits: Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 Holidays: 23 days Bank Holidays Pension Life cover & health cover Free parking Responsibilities: Administration of Linux based internal server support infrastructure Documentation of existing and new deployments Supporting existing core ISP network Expert knowledge of the systems and processes Help staff resolve queries and problems Solving issues from other departments via internal issue trackers and ticketing systems Develop new products or services Suggest and implement new approaches and architectural improvements Emergency on-call support on a rota basis Requirements: Experience with Linux systems administration (Debian/Ubuntu) Configuration management Experience with revision control systems Server installation automation Apache web servers MySQL DNS servers and administration If this sounds like you please send us your CV through the link, and we will give you a call for a confidential chat.
