Overview
This Finance Manager plays a key part in the management structure for this client. This role covers all aspects of financial information and reporting, directly managing the finance team, and providing financial support to external teams. Client Details This client is a well known business locally, and has been growing consistently over the last 5 years. They have a friendly finance team, and are particularly keen on offering additional benefits to their employees (e.g. study support etc.) Description The key responsibilities for this role include: Produce the monthly management accounts, ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled and P&L variances explained Assist the FD with annual budgets and regular forecasts Prepare quarterly VAT returns Manage the finance team ensuring that the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, and Cashbook requirements are met daily Assist with the development of improved reporting Produce weekly Cashflow reporting and monitor against forecasts Invoice and Expenses approval Bank and cheque signatory Profile The successful candidate will have: Excellent communication skills Prior experience of staff management Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and in particular Excel Part Qualified (or QBE) candidate Experience of working in a multi-site business is preferable Job Offer This role offers a fantastic employee benefits package, including flexible hours, study support, free on site parking etc.
