They are one of the leading supplies of their products across the UK and Ireland, in addition to exporting into countries across the globe, so their brand is widely recognised. The business is experiencing its most successful sales to date, and due to this continued growth, the Senior Management Team realise the need to bring in a dedicated Head of Finance to offer invaluable guidance, advice and support. This role will suit an individual who has experience working in SME sized business within a manufacturing or distribution environment. This opportunity will offer the successful candidate full autonomy and ownership of the Finance function, and in return will give the candidate immense job satisfaction and the chance to really make a difference to a growing business. Responsibilities: Create and uphold the highest standards of Financial Reporting Contribute to commercial strategies Manage and coach junior members of the finance team ensuring that transactional activities are carried out accurately Monitor company financial status whilst preparing budgets and forecasts Provide real-time financial information to board members Manage implementation of new accounting software Skills and Experience: Candidates must be qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Experience in owner-lead SME Excellent management skills Ability to communicate with various stakeholders throughout the business Commercial acumen and a proven track record of driving profitability Strong financial modelling skills If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability/notice period.
