Overview
Greenwell Gleeson has been retained to recruit a commercially minded Head of Finance for a progressive SME business. In this business critical role the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the UK finance function. The Head of Finance will have overall responsibility for monthly and annual reporting, keeping close track of cash reporting and working capital management. In this role you will work closely with the MD to provide information for statutory reporting and regulatory returns. You will work with a variety of internal stakeholders across the business to provide MI and advice to facilitate future growth. The role will require you to be commercially focussed reviewing progress on contracts and reporting performance accurately in the monthly reports. To be considered for the role you will be a qualified accountant holding a recognised accountancy qualification, ACMA, ACA or ACCA with experience showing a track record of implementing high standards of financial control, reporting and presenting financial information in a timely manner. You will have a good commercial outlook and appreciation of wider business issues. You will be an analytical individual with excellent systems skills.
