Overview
Lead Automation Engineer - LEEDS. Harvey Nash is working with in partnership with one of the city's most iconic brands to source and secure a talented Lead Automation Engineer to sit within their information security team. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction, and apply a partnership approach to building strong relationships across Architecture and 3rd party service providers. Reporting directly into the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for security services at application and O/S level, and defining the technology strategy. You will work with colleagues to improve controls, ensuring cyber risks are mitigated where possible. To be successful in this role, you must be super passionate about automation and Information Security Knowledge of the following would be an advantage - Chef, The Hive, Crowdstrike, Splunk, ObserveIT, Hashicorp Vault, Azure Active Directory. Requirements: Windows and Linux Administration skills PowerShell Phython, Pearl knowledge/experience Experience automating and deploying software Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure & Platform A strong understanding of scripting languages Desirable MacOS administration skills As well as the above, my client is looking for someone with excellent character, able to form relationships quickly and take a contentious approach to tasks at all levels.
