Overview
We are searching for a Software Developer for a marketing leading and innovative technical business based in Devon. You will be joining a cutting-edge and fast-growing company; reporting directly to the Head of Software Development you will be responsible for developing creative solutions and pushing technology to the limits. Your daily activities will focus on the following; Writing code for front-end platforms using Angular and NodeJS (JavaScript) Developing new user-facing features. Building reusable code and code libraries for future use. Performing regular code reviews via GitHub Pull Requests. Configuring Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (DevOps) Required Skills & Experience; Strong JavaScript experience, particularly working with Angular and NodeJS (or similar) Strong HTML and CSS experience with an eye for design. Experience working in an Agile development team. Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests. Willingness to learn new skills and develop professionally to help further the team. Positive attitude towards challenging situations and multi-tasking. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate well. Must be committed to making 'anything possible' with a 'can do' attitude. Able to write front-end code that is cross-browser and cross-device friendly. Experience in the following areas would be extremely beneficial but is NOT essential; Experience using TeamCity and Octopus Deploy Experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
