Location - Woodbury UnityFive Limited is a well- established, leading software development house with a market leading SAAS offering. We are looking forward to celebrating our 10th birthday next year! We're going through rapid and sustained growth - we've doubled in size in 18 months, and actively reinvesting profits to support future growth. We have fast become market leaders in our sector and are doing everything in our power to keep it that way as well as breaking into new markets. We are currently recruiting across all areas of the business. We are an Agile team in a lovely barn conversion in the countryside between Exeter and Exmouth. One of our most recent recruits described us as one of the most supportive teams they had ever worked with. We are willing to look at someone who has QA experience or someone who would like to move into software testing. You will be working alongside a team of talented software developers within an Agile (Scrum) environment you will build up a detailed knowledge of the software system and business requirements displaying the ability to recommend, implement and develop cutting edge solutions. Our software is critical to our clients businesses and you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of new deployments, always mindful of the end-user and delivering a first-class user experience. The main purpose of this role is to examine the actual behaviour of our software products and identify any gaps from the expected behaviour, reporting any discrepancies and collaborating with the development team to ensure bugs are eliminated. Key responsibilities: * Perform comprehensive testing on all development work across all Unity5 products, reporting any defects to a defined specification. * Help the development team in all suspected bug investigation. * Establish and maintain a deep understanding of Unity5 software. Role Requirements: * A good understanding of the software development process * Natural curiosity! * Strong attention to detail * Evidence of good judgment skills * Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities * Flexible and hardworking both independently and in a team environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills * SEB/ISTQB Foundation (Desirable) We are offering a competitive salary package in line with experience, benefits include flexi-time, Private Healthcare with activity perks, death in service benefit, pension scheme.
