Overview

A fantastic opportunity for a seriously capable Senior Electronics Engineer, with experience of true 'blank sheet' circuit level hardware design, has arisen at an exciting technology development company. As Senior Electronics Engineer / Hardware Design Engineer you will use your passion for innovation to develop concepts, technologies and products for household name companies. This is a senior role (with salary to match) but it is still very much hands-on R&D. As the electronics 'guru' of a multi-disciplined team you will take new project ideas from a blue-sky concept through to complete functional prototype. This will involve the development of a diverse range of products ranging from consumer technology through to medical/healthcare devices. These will incorporate elements of Digital, Analog and Power Electronics, plus Embedded Software. This is serious hands on R&D for real world products -some of which will seem like science fiction today but will be in everyday use in the near future -you probably already own products this company has designed Responsibilities: Circuit level design and development of electronic devices and systems incorporating digital (FPGAs ASICs, discrete logic), analogue (sensors, signal conditioning, etc) and low-level power electronics and embedded software. Design for manufacture and assembly Actively taking on lead role on projects and teams - acting as mentor for less experienced colleagues To be considered for the role of Senior Electronics Design Engineer you need the following: A minimum 2.1 BSc/BEng/MEng or maybe a PhD in Electronics Engineering A strong background in electronic systems engineering or equivalent experience Ability to create new circuits, devices and products from a blank sheet Experience of working in a project-based environment Excellent communications skills within internal teams and external client network An enthusiasm for innovation For more information or to apply, please send your CV to Izabela Czerniawska at
