Overview
Butler Rose are working with our client based in Fareham who are seeking a Part Time Finance Professional . This is a job share - 3 days per week. What will this role entail? Along with a job-share partner, the Fixed Asset Administrator will be involved with the all aspects of the 'Acquire to Retire' business process for the UK and countries / markets serviced by the EMEA Finance Shared Service Centre. This will include processing of completed capital expenditure requests and be responsible for the maintenance of the fixed asset registers for the EMEA region, ensuring that transactions are processed timely and accurately in line with company policy and internal control requirements and reported in line with the Corporate timetable. You will have a key role in asset tracking activities, overseeing asset tagging activities and the physical verification programme and also also maintain the lease accounting system for the EMEA region. Key Knowledge and Skills: High levels of computer literacy to include the use of excel up to intermediate level. Ability to work in a high pressure, high volume environment. Strong teamwork and ability to deal effectively with colleagues and clients. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met. Dynamic and flexible approach. Effective and professional communication skills both verbal and written. Basic accounting knowledge (double entry and account reconciliation). Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure excellent customer service. Experience: Experience of working in a dynamic and international finance function, preferably in a Shared Service environment. Experience of integrated ERP systems (e.g. Oracle R12 (preferred), SAP). Knowledge and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Knowledge of asset management software and/or lease accounting software beneficial.
