Overview
IPS Finance is recruiting a Financial Accountant for a City centre based client. The business has an excellent IT infrastructure and home working can initially be set up and the offices are centrally located close to the train station. The firm is passionate about developing those who work there and our client views this as an excellent opportunity for a finalist / qualified accountant to progress from either practice or industry. As the firms financial accountant you would be responsible for the changing needs and priorities of the department and to provide support to your colleagues in the firm. In the role you would be responsible for: Preparation of monthly P&L Analysis of performance against budget and firm costs Building strong relationships with Business Managers and helping them improve their knowledge of financial performance Create monthly departmental reports Balance Sheet and reconciliations Preparation of annual accounts of audit review Full responsibility of a subsidiary companies accounting Dealing with ad hoc requests for the wider business As a potential financial accountant for the firm, you will be: Finalist or Qualified ACCA/ACA or ACMA with a strong financial background Strong systems skills and process driven IPS Finance has 40 years experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
