Job Title: HR Business Advisor Location: Basildon, Essex Hourly Rate: £20.84 Umbrella Company - increasing to £26.40 Umbrella Co after 12 weeks under AWR IR35 Status - Inside IR35 Employment Type: Contract - initially to the end of 2020 Hours: Standard 37.5 Per Week Position Responsibilities This is a key position within the CV HR Product Development team. Specific roles and responsibilities include: Providing professional HR support in line with business requirements Positively support organizational change, restructuring and organizational effectiveness workstreams. Participate and contribute to, HR related project work and new initiatives including culture and talent workstreams, in conjunction with the COE’s. Support effective career management for PD employees - supporting employee development and succession planning activities. Guide and support people leaders on People policies including the delivery of HR Cycle plan activities Support PD management upskilling & skills sprint initiatives. Stay informed of developments within the HR profession, support the wider HR function and share 'best practice’. Develop and maintain a positive collaborative working relationship with local TU partners. Assist people leaders with Employee Engagement and morale improvements including Pulse action planning and coordination. Facilitate internal and external PD recruitment and selection activities, ensuring corporate processes are followed, including the facilitation of assessment centres and induction processes. Support GSR Compensation Planning - responsible for planning across UK PD group, liaising with key RWG facilitators & collaborate with TU partners where appropriate. Support the deployment of D&I strategies within CV PD Skills required: A good understanding and practical experience of HR business advice / Employee Relations delivery. Evidence of adopting a pro-active, analytical, solutions-focused approach. Drive for process improvement - appropriately challenge and question traditional 'ways of working’ and constantly look for opportunities to add value. Strong team player - The ability to work flexibly and deliver under pressure, particularly when supporting new initiatives, as well as the ability to use own initiative. Well-developed diplomacy, listening and influencing skills Skills preferred: IT literate and have gained previous experience in HR. Experience required: Experience of supporting and advising key stakeholders Experience preferred: Previous experience of working with a complex range of customers in a European or Global environment would be preferred. Education required: Qualifications and Skills Applicants should ideally be degree and CIPD qualified (or working towards) , IT literate and have gained previous experience in HR. The successful applicant will also be expected to demonstrate the following: Experience of supporting and advising key stakeholders A good understanding and practical experience of HRBO/Employee Relations delivery.
