Overview
Your new company A growing organisation based in Surrey, Due to positive growth, an HR Coordinator is required on a permanent basis. Your new role The purpose of this role is to assist with providing a full HR administrative service that includes providing admin support on recruitment, employee relations, people management, training, other general administration as well as managing the Group's outsourced HR team. As part of your role you will: Provide advice to line managers on the recruitment process, ensuring the process is strictly kept to and each role has a full audit trail. Produce all new starter paperwork, including offer letters, contracts of employment and new starter packs Support all required pre-employment checks, updating and discussing with line managers where appropriate. Ensure all new starter paperwork is collected and information is communicated with payroll, IT and all other relevant departments. Ensure all systems are updated on a daily basis to reflect any progress in recruitment activities. Ensuring all required letters are sent to the employee and copies are recorded on their employee file Ensure employee files are up to date in a tidy and easily accessible order Ensure new starter folders are set up prior to the new starter joining Ensure any leavers are removed from active employee lists and their employee file is moved to leave inbox. Support the on and off boarding of contractors throughout the year Assist with the preparation of all changes to terms and conditions letters, ensuring these are sent to the employee, recorded on the relevant systems and payroll are updated. Help to prepare management reports on employee related data on a monthly basis. Maintaining holiday records and helping line managers ensure requests are approved on a timely basis and the amount of leave carried over is limited as far as possible. Providing data and reports on absences, ensuring copies of sick notes are obtained and back to work interviews are organised in line with Group policy. What you'll need to succeed Some previous HR experience Experience within a fast paced, ever changing organisation. Have experience using multiple systems and switching between them. Experience in a role in which confidentially and discreetness is required. Be approachable to the team and build relationships with senior stakeholders Ability to be discrete and to handle information appropriately. Have excellent experience of producing letters, documents or presentations from a brief, whether verbal or in writing. Have strong relationship and communication skills. Have the ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and respond promptly to our clients. Be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Be able to adapt to multiple or new systems What you'll get in return Up to £27,000 pa plus benefits.
