Overview
Role The Operator will be responsible for the In-feed of product, as assigned to them by the Shift Co-ordinator. Mandatory Responsibilities • Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality. • Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity. • Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute. • Promote and Display the Epwin Core Values. Role Responsibilities • Carry our relevant checks on assigned products as required by the product quality plan. • Segregate all non-conforming products (condition of base). • Communicate information via the relevant communication channels. • Alert relevant people to process and product concerns. • Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Shift Co-ordinator and the training plan. • Safeguard property issued by the company. • Carry out pad making. • Ensure condition of base is fit for purpose. • Feed base product in to the foiling line. • Ensure workplace is clean and tidy - all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks. • Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others). • Undertake reasonable duties as and when required. Performance Measures • Attendance. • Competence audits. • Development of skills and competence in line with the training plan. • Collation of raw materials Personal Attributes • Clean, neat and tidy approach to work. • Punctual and adaptable. • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a larger team. • Good polite manner. • Motivated to learn and develop skills. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work in a fast pace environment. • Positive approach to the working environment. Skills/Abilities • Basic level of numeracy and literacy. • Ability to use a PC to an operational level. • Good communication skills.
