Injection Moulding Technician / Process Engineer

This well-established manufacturer of automotive products with a global presence is currently seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician/Process Engineer to join their team working on a double days basis. As Injection Moulding Process Technician/Engineer, the ideal Candidate will - Provide support to the mouldshop area including support of the Technical Team, Operations Team and/or Cell Leader. Coach and ensure all robot programs, robot heads and TPM die and insert changes to first off standard. Carry out moulding/process trouble shooting activities Champion 5s and promote 5s within the moulding team. Monitor HSE Understand the QUALITY FIRST philosophy, ensuring quality standards are achieved in terms of Right First Time (RFT). Ensure that non-conformance is challenged. Ensure Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) checks are completed and faults are escalated Carry out (NPI) New Product Introduction/tool trials Program 3 and 6 axis robots To be successful in the role of the Process Technician/Engineer, the ideal candidate will - Have significant experience of working within injection moulding, with some of it being in an automotive manufacturing environment. Hold vast experience of injection moulding/Tooling. Have the ability to effectively train others in all aspects within the mould shop. Be experienced in trouble shooting and problem solving/tool trial NPI and complete process setup Have knowledge of process optimisation, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement or SMED. Based in Telford, this role is easily commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Stafford and Kidderminster.
