Overview
My client is looking to hire an experienced Procurement & Vendor Risk Manager to their governance and controls set up. You will support the Head of Governance & Controls and act as the central point of contact to manage the procurement & vendor management as well as the 1LOD for operational risk. You will be responsible for but not limited to: Developing procedures and operationalising the process to ensure its fully embedded Running forums to manage upcoming contract reviews, vendor on-boarding and critical vendor risk assessment, ensuring they comply with EBA guidelines Conducting cost analysis and cost saving exercises of existing vendors, producing monthly MI of cost per department and trend analysis To be successful in the role you must have proven experience of: Vendor risk management Procurement Operational risk Solid understanding of EBA guidelines Able to produce meaningful RCA’s and KRI’s Have a solid banking background
