Overview

Systems Engineer with Contact Centre infrastructure experience This is a full-time role based from home from with some occasional travel requirements. Your role as Systems Engineer: Design, deployment and support of the company contact centre platform, session border controllers and and associated telephony systems Detection, investigation and removal/mitigation of all possible security threats, demonstrating technical leadership during any major incidents Design, deployment and support of the company ISO27001 security policy across a range of IT systems from network edge to user end points Design, deployment and support of the company Windows servers farm, virtualisaion and storage systems Troubleshooting of complex IT infrastructure problems with vendor escalation and problem ownership through to resolution Monitoring and performance tuning of IT infrastructure to minimise any business disruption time and SLA adherence Development of technical documentation, internal standards and reports as requested by management Research, evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to address emerging industry and technical needs 5 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Cisco/Microsoft/Linux/VMWare in high availability enterprise environments Ability to perform effectively as a subject matter expert within your area of telephony and as a team player Mentor, coach, lead and impart valuable knowledge to junior team members with minimal supervision Essential Technical Knowledge and Experience Cisco firewalls, routers, switches ISO27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS Microsoft Azure AD, Office 365 Enghouse CCSP Contact Centre platform Sonus session border controller platform MCSE, CCNP and/or CCVP Voice SIP Gateways and Trunking MS Windows/SQL/Exchange Server, Active Directory Group Policies and their application for Security best practice VMWare Virtualisation Technologies HP SAN storage and Server DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP Windows Scripting (Batch, VBScript, Powershell) You will have: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Adaptability and assertiveness Resilient and able to handle stressful situations Flexibile approach to your working hours Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.
