Overview

My client is seeking a Senior candidate that has experience in leading a team to carrying out Part 7 risk assessments under the Housing Act 1996. This new project is looking for a strong Housing Options and Homeless Supervisor who will successfully manage a team to prevent homelessness. The Team Manager is keen to support the Supervisor through the new Homeless Programme. The Supervisor will be line managing a team of Customer Contact Officers who will provide frontline Homeless Prevention and Advice Service. The client is looking for an experienced Supervisor that has experience Lead new teams to success. The team manager is looking for a confident and focussed Supervisor. What we are looking for from you: Experience line managing a Housing Options or Homeless Officers understanding Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 or working at a Senior level with staff management experience. Experienced with handling individuals who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, advising them through the process and preventing homelessness. Keeping up with Officers performances and offering regular 1-2-1s Duties Includes : Leading a new team of Customer Contact Officers on a new Homeless Transformation programme Strong knowledge of Housing and Homelessness acts, including Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 and Homeless Reduction Act 2017 Offer a proactive service to residents identified as being at risk of homelessness by the Early Intervention Team If you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you.
