Overview

One of the UK's largest independent security services companies has an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Controller to join their team based in Edinburgh. They're a fast-growing company that offers unique cyber security solutions for their clients. As a business formed and run by former senior security leaders, they know their stuff. Following recent investment, they're growing, and as part of this continued growth, they're now looking for a Revenue Controller to join their Edinburgh office on a permanent basis. As their Revenue Controller, you will have responsibility for administering the full sales cycle. Reporting to the Operations Accountant, you will provide responsive, high-quality sales ledger administrative support for the business. Responsibilities: Ensuring that timesheets are completed and submitted on time Processing monthly sales invoicing Credit control - managing debt within the sales ledger, chasing up any outstanding invoices out with agreed credit limits Accurately processing purchase / software orders and update details in the Finance system Raising and sending manual purchase orders to cost of sales suppliers Attaching and allocating purchase orders to engagements Managing the revenue inbox and responding to any queries Accurately recording expenses in the finance system Liaising with the Service Delivery team to ensure the correct revenue is being recognised on managed projects Liaising with internal teams to ensure that dates and values are accurately recorded in the Finance system Providing a timely response to queries from customers in relation to issues such as billing, revenue, etc. About you: Good experience of working in the sales administration part of a finance team Credit control experience Experience of Salesforce/ Kimble would be highly desirable Experience using a finance system such as Sage would be desirable Comfortable with using MS Excel to an intermediate level Self-starter Ability to demonstrate effective planning, organisation and attention to detail What's on offer: Their staff benefit from a range of excellent benefits and reward plans, including but not limited to: Membership to a group personal pension plan Discretionary bonus payments Private health care Life insurance of four times salary Membership to a health and well-being cashback scheme Gym membership discounts They committed to encouraging a positive working culture by focusing on personal development through training and providing various opportunities for employees to share their ideas and influence the direction of the business.
