Overview
Our client, a manufacturer of high quality thinners, body fillers and clear coatings, is based in the West Midlands area. They are currently seeking a retired or semi-retired Coatings Chemist with speciality in body filler formulation and manufacturing processes, to work as a consultant carrying out specific assignments, as and when required. The successful candidates will have chemistry, materials sciences, or similar background with several years’ experience working within a coating, formulation environment. The candidates will be able to demonstrate problem solving skills, provide solutions and have the discipline to complete actions and tasks in a timely manner. The applicant will have: Good commitment and organizational abilities. Self-motivation and strong drive to achieve tangible results within fixed time frames. Good communication skills and the competence and confidence to undertake consultancy work. Rates are negotiable.
