Overview
A Financial Accountant is required on a temporary basis to join a growing organisation based in Southampton, for a period of 3 - 6 months. The successful Financial Accountant will be offered flexible working hours, on-site free parking and an opportunity to drive improvement within this organisation. In this key role, the successful Financial Accountant will be gathering and monitoring financial data, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements financial data for the directors. In order to be considered, you must have strong communication skills and be available at very short notice. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following: Examine financial records and accounting statements for individual and business clients Calculate taxes owed and prepare tax returns; submit tax returns on time and track payments or refunds Understand and adhere to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation Analyse current accounting systems, making suggestions for enhancements where needed Prepare and submit VAT returns Liaise with external auditors Support business profitability and growth through findings and recommendations What you'll need to succeed: ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualification Worked in the following roles: Senior Financial Accountant / Financial Accountant / Finance Manager / Statutory Accountant and Financial Controller Experience within the following sectors would be beneficial: Manufacturing / Distribution / Logistics What you will get: Flexible working hours On-site free parking True job satisfaction The Niche Partnership is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
