Overview
Therapeutic Care Worker Social Care & Education Therapeutic Care Worker – NG13 Duration: Permanent, 40 hours plus, per week. Different shift patterns including sleep ins Salary: £17,160 per year SCE Group are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Therapeutic Care Worker to provide excellent day to day to care of young people, taking on the role of a parent based on therapeutic models. Main duties and responsibilities: · To know and understand the primary care needs of young people. · To undertake household duties, meal planning, cooking and cleaning. · To promote and encourage the development of individual interests and attitude. · To organise and participate in group activities and holidays. · To encourage young people with their education and hobbies. · To respond to any safeguarding concerns relating to young people. · To provide firm, consistent and fair boundaries. · To follow risk assessments to keep young people safe. · To work as part of a team. · To work closely and develop appropriate relationships with social services and family. · To undertake administrative tasks.
