Overview
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Birmingham. My award winning client is renowned for providing a very high standard of work, clients range across a variety of sectors including; infrastructure, industrial and commercial. Skills/Qualifications Required: Experience working with Eurocode design including foundations, temporary works, soil nails, ground anchors and the sit investigation management Strong academic background in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. BEng/MEng PhD in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural engineering. Detailed geotechnical design engineering solutions, drawings and specifications including slope stability, earthworks, basements, deep excavations and/or retaining structures Knowledge of geo-environmental engineering and its interaction with geotechnical design would be a benefit You will be expected to combine site work with design work and investigation and project management Occasional travel to the UK will be required Joining the wider geotechnical group, typically you will work closely with design engineers producing detailed models for various complex engineering solutions.
