Overview

Administrator Salary: Circa £23000 based on experience Location: Watford To Start: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm Key Job Responsibilities: The Sales Support Representative (SSR) is a customer service position which is focused on providing administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors in the regional sales office. Duties include fielding telephone calls, dealing with email queries, word processing, data entry, creating/managing spreadsheets, presentations and updating Google Docs. In addition the SSR will also be required to make regular visits to the local warehouse. The applicant must have at least two years of work experience in a sales support or customer service environment and a degree is a plus. Excellent communication abilities and data entry skills are essential. In addition, the applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills, have good follow-through, possess critical thinking aptitude, be well organised, detail oriented, successfully work on several projects at the same time and have demonstrated initiative. A positive ‘can-do’ attitude is a must. SSRs work closely with the regions Business Managers (BMs), Associate Business Managers (ABMs), active vendors, freight forwarders and personnel on a daily basis. This position is a go-to position for the BM/ABM sales staff so the job responsibilities may change as the business continues to evolve. Extensive software skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required as well as internet research abilities. Duties include: Administrative Support & Order Processing Process, track and verify accuracy of all purchase orders daily Confirm all purchase orders with the respective vendor Keep Google documents updated for any orders being processed Set-up new items and input purchase orders onto internal database. Ensure timely delivery of purchase orders. Maintain accurate records for all active vendors; contacts, order specifications, etc. Maintain accurate records for all active items; pricing, specifications, etc. Track and manage marketing budgets to ensure promotional activity occurs, including food demonstrations, endcaps, coupon promotions and magazine adverts. Update weekly and monthly comp-shops utilising warehouse visits and online research. Communicate and resolve all issues proactively and with a sense of urgency. Track and deal with member complaints and queries. Initiate and manage special projects as they occur. General help wherever needed to assist sales group and other Sales Support Reps. Support The Company’s programs and maximize sales by understanding objectives and building relationships. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Customer’s operation and key competitors. Protect the Company’s, customer and vendor’s confidential and proprietary information. Attributes/Skill Sets Needed Verbal Communication Skills – Clear, concise, honest. Be able to deliver bad news with confidence if necessary Written Communication Skills – Clear, concise, excellent grammar Mathematical Skills – Accurate when working with percentages, accruals, pricing & invoicing discrepancies Computer Literate – Email, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, OMS/AVIS Ability to Multi-Task Organisational Skills Problem Solving Attention to Detail - Accuracy, detail oriented Sense of Urgency Follow Through - Complete all tasks in a timely fashion Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
