Overview

This is an opportunity to join an independent software and technology consultancy who have clients in the public and private sector. They pride themselves on their ability to deliver exciting new digital services for their clients. They focus on understanding their client's business and work with them to deliver change that makes their business more effective. Their multidisciplinary teams have the drive, talent and creativity to take strategies from inception all the way through to successful business adoption. Responsibilities: - You will plan, design and carry out research activities with users that help the team get a deep understanding of the people that will use the service(s). - This research will inform policy, proposition, service, content and interaction design so that services work well for users and achieves policy intent. - You will be embedded in a multidisciplinary team and responsible for planning and carrying out user research activities. - You will be expected to work independently or in a team and have a working skill level at the role - User centred research and design practices - Gathering user requirements for web based services - Managing, executing and analysing usability test sessions - Proven experience of working in an agile development environment with user experience teams, designers and developers to create new digital products and services - Working across web content, tools and transaction services - Using metrics and user feedback to define/refine user experience - Seeking constructive outcomes in discussions, challenge assumptions but remain willing to compromise when it is beneficial to progress Salary & Benefits: - Competitive salary, dependent on experience - 25 Days Annual Leave Bank Holidays - Flexibility to work from home - Generous discretionary bonus - Statutory & Contributory pension - Gym Membership - Annual Away days - Bi weekly company socials - Ongoing training Candidates should be open to working in different locations for different clients.
