Overview
4-6 week Pay and Reward Officer role for a Local Authority in London, paying £23-£25 per hour. Your new company I am currently recruiting for a Pay and Reward Officer, to work for a Local Council, based in Central London. The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week. The role is for 4-6 weeks and is inside scope of IR35, so will pay £23 per hour via PAYE or £25 per hour via Umbrella company. Interviews will take place week commencing 24th February, to start immediately. Please only apply if you are on 1 week's notice or less. Your new role You will work very closely with the Pay and Reward Manager, to support the Pay & Reward programme across the council. The focus of the role would initially be to support with reviews of various recruitment & retention supplements and review various pockets across the Council, where a casual workforce is in use (reviewing statutory compliance & considering proposals for change). What you'll need to succeed Previous experience of working in the public sector with the ability to implement strategies and provide high quality advice across, whilst understanding the need of the business. You will also need experience and knowledge of advising on pay and reward matters in a complex unionised environment, with the ability to interrogate data to identify previously unknown pay & reward related issues, and recognise appropriate solutions.
