Deputy Home Manager York £28k - £30k Residential Dementia Care DMD Recruitment are working on behalf of a reputable, independent care provider to recruit an experienced Dementia focused Deputy Home Manager for their large care home in York. Situated on the outskirts of York, this impressive service stands within its own grounds and is registered to provide care and support to older people across 2 separate units. As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the complete management of a 31-bed specialist dementia unit, whilst providing management support to the whole home in the Home Managers absence. Current experience working as a Deputy Home Manager within a large care home is essential along with the completion or working towards completing Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. The successful candidate must also have experience caring for older people living with dementia. A dementia qualification will be highly advantageous. This is a full time, permanent opportunity.
