Contract Public Health Engineer - To £38 p/h Due to a number of new project wins, we are looking for a Contract Public Health Engineer (or a reasonably priced Senior PH Design Engineer) for a six-month contract. You will be responsible for assisting on a high profile master-planning project in the Middle East so any previous international design experience would be great. Supported by a Director with over 20 years' experience in PH Design you'll develop your skills in above ground drainage, sustainable design, grey water recycling, rainwater harvesting, sustainable urban drainage and BIM. With a minimum of 5 years' experience as a PH Design Engineer you'll be used to attending meetings, agreeing the design philosophy, managing the design and construction stages of a project and producing drawing lists, calculations, schedules and specifications. Established over 50 years ago they now employ over 2000 staff from over 25 offices and are large enough to compete against the large practices; whilst still being small enough to recognise their employees as their greatest assets. They pride themselves on the fact that their directors stay fully involved in projects from concept design to delivery and that can provide a true turn key solution and design and deliver a project anywhere in the world. You will initially work from home although as things return to normal, the idea is that you will be based in their London office so you can collaborate with the inhouse Mechanical, Electrical, Sustainability, Environmental Engineers and Civil and Structural Engineers. It is likley that after your involvement on the masterplanning project is conplete; you will then work on a range of high-rise commercial office, hotel, residential buildings across the UK and abroad.
