Overview
We are working with an In house organisation in the financial services sector looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their small yet busy Legal team based in the West Midlands. The successful Senior Legal Counsel will work in the Birmingham office and join a close knit legal team. The organisation has a national reach with a presence across a network of offices across the UK and Ireland/ About the Senior Legal Counsel As an integral part of the legal team the Senior Legal Counsel will work with and support the in-house legal function working closely with the Head of Legal. Due to the nature of the business you will build internal stakeholder relationships as well as other infrastructure teams. Key responsibilities: Support strategic advice on the execution of corporate transactions. Advise internal stakeholders on the negotiation of contracts with suppliers. Assist with the management and maintenance of precedent documents. Work on a range of strategic Responsibility for instruction of external lawyers. About the Senior Legal Counsel: You will be a UK qualified corporate lawyer with a minimum 4 years PQE gained at a reputable law firm. Experience in Private Equity is desirable. Will be a good communicator with a strong practical approach to your workload. Excellent IT skills and good knowledge of MS packages. Excellent understanding of private equity investments. Excellent understanding of legal research tools.
