Overview

This is great opportunity to work for a Trade Association that has been established for over 100 years, and one that offers their members a wide range of fundamental business services and discounts, plus practical advice, and telephone support on issues such as Employment Law and Health and Safety. We are looking for a bubbly and self-motivated person to provide admin support, primarily to the marketing team, but you will also be required to help out with the administration needs of the whole office. Some of the staff are part time so you will be required to answer the phones and take messages and provide general cover. This is a small office so you will need to have a "can do" attitude and to want to get involved in all aspects of the business and be willing to take instruction. The ideal person will have at least one year’s office experience in an admin environment and be keen to learn new skills. Duties Supporting the Marketing and Communications Administrator Assisting with Social Media Posts and monitoring responses Assist with events, administration and attendance Recording information onto the Company’s CRM Database (ACT). Responsibility for the administration of Membership Renewals and Retention Contacting lapsed members to get them to renew their membership Administration of the Reward and Retention Scheme. Typing of correspondence and providing administrative support to the office as and when required Managing post and emails. Assisting the Office Manager in the administration of the Association’s Online Training Scheme and Call Assist Vehicle Recovery Scheme. Any other administration duties considered relevant by the Director of Operations. Skills Fast and accurate typing skills. Must be able to work as part of a small team Competent in Word, Outlook and Excel All round knowledge of Databases. Attention to detail and good telephone manner required. Able to take instruction and work effectively to deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. Must be flexible and willing to cover all duties in the event of holidays and sickness.
