Overview
Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a business in Berkhamsted who are looking for an Accounts Executive who will work across pay and billing and also credit control. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that contractors are paid to agreed timescales. They will also manage all invoices to the clients and maintain company cashflow. Key duties: To calculate contractor invoices with speed, accuracy and efficiency. Process contractor timesheets on a monthly basis, using a combination of online portals and paper timesheets Chasing missing contractor timesheets on a monthly basis To ensure that sales invoices are issued on a monthly/adhoc basis in a timely manner. To assist in the preparation of monthly contractor accruals and deferred income journals and ensure that any expenses have been recharged. Payment of contractors to ensure that payments are made punctually and accurately. Oversee the collection of customer accounts in a timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Producing sales invoices to be sent out to Clients Dealing with Contractor & Client queries Credit checks Account reconciliations To be able to communicate in an efficient yet friendly manner with all stakeholders of the business, internal and external. Report to Pay and Bill Supervisor any outstanding issues and highlight any potential debtor problems. We are looking for candidates who have worked within a finance fuction for a minimum of 3 years. Ideally you will have some pay and billing experience as well as credit control exposure. You must have good Excel skills and be able to communiate effectively on the phone and also in person.
