Overview
Our Government based client is looking to recruit a Software Asset Manager / Configuration Analyst on a 12 month contract to join their award winning head office based in Exeter. With in this role your main responsibility will be to ensure the business efficiently recognises, optimises, and controls its software assets. This will include daily management of software assets, procurement of software licenses and maintenance of agreements, conduct internal audits, report on assets and assist the platforms teams with OS deployments, etc. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and experience: Software asset management life cycle from procurement through to deployment, support, renewal and retirement Exposure to software licensing and software maintenance tools Aware of the software deployment process Strong critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving abilities Organised and structured approach to work ITIL awareness and ideally certified Preference will also be given to candidates who hold current SC Security Clearance however those eligible to apply will also be considered.
