Overview
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Architect or Architectural Technician to work for a close-knit established practice based in a picturesque Surrey Village. This is a permanent position with a salary circa £30-35,000 pa depending on experience. You'll need at least 3 years industry experience to be considered for this one. Although there will be more weight toward your technical experience (UK building regulation knowledge, putting together quality drawing and construction packages, surveys). Job running experience will also be required for this and previous experience with client liaison would be a bonus. Site knowledge would also be ideal, dealing with contractors and you'll need sound knowledge of the planning process and feasibility studies. A proven track record of working within the residential sector is a must, preferably high-end schemes however there are a number of developments to get your teeth stuck into as well. With a huge increase in workload from projects ranging from small-medium scale to projects into the millions of pounds this is an opportunity for a candidate looking to build on their all-round knowledge and who is seeking to gain more experience across many RIBA stages and projects.
