Overview
Our client is an electrical contractor based in the Thames Valley. They have recently won an ongoing project to carry out small works electrical installations in several home furnishing stores across London. The position requires an experienced and reliable electrical improver (or mate) to assist their electrician in a team of two that will cover all stores in North, East, West and South London, so flexibility with travel is required. You will be experienced in assisting electricians with installation of power, lighting, board changes and associated electrical installation works. You will be smart in appearance and have a good attitude to the client when electrical work is being carried out in store times. This is an interesting and varied role but it will only suit an electrical improver with a willingness to travel across London and be capable of working some unsociable hours on electrical work that has to be carried out when stores are closed (late evenings). The work is ongoing with new projects coming in daily, so work is guaranteed on a long-term basis for an individual who wants to be part of a friendly, flexible and committed electrical team. The end client offers free on site parking as well as subsidised canteen that can be used by contractors.
