A Senior Statistical Consultant job with ambitious, young technology company created to optimise complex urban systems. They believe that by developing an unmatched understanding of how cities work they can enhance existing infrastructure, reduce waste and improve lives for citizens Due to company growth my clients are looking for an experienced Statistical Consultant to join their award-winning team on a full-time and permanent bases. The Role Whilst driving the data driven business, you will build long term relationships with clients and work on innovative data projects. You’ll be blending the use of mathematical techniques, analytics and develop new ideas for clients into sustainable business opportunities Your Day to day will also involve: Designing models with a clear path from hypothesis to prototyping to product Conducting advanced data analysis Applying advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques to problems within transport, energy and enterprise sectors Leading projects Modelling specific aspects of networks such as shortest-paths, capacity models and equilibrium effects Working as a consultant you take the role of Bid Director and lead on strategy when going for tenders. What You Need to Succeed You will be an experienced Data Consultant who is able to apply excellent knowledge of a range of statistical principles and techniques to deliver client objectives. Along you must have the ability to analyse large data sets using Python, JavaScript, SQL or similar and have ex perience with geo-spatial data. Along with this, to be successful in the role you will need to have: Knowledge of software engineering practices such as version control and continuous integration Experience engaging clients and winning work.
