Job Profile for Technical Estimator - AM141260 Technical Estimator required for a metal fabrication company based in gainsborough. My client arelooking for an experiened Technical Estimator with a strong sales background who has previously serviced the metal fabrication industry. The ideal candiadte will be looking for a new role in which they would like to stay for the forseeable future. It would be advantageous if the candidate has experience servicing the construction industry aswell. Technical Estimator Position Overview Drafting quotes based on bespoke requirements. To build relationships with existing and new customers Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and extract the required information for reliable costs and estimates Give technical support to customers To use estimating processes in order to issue quotations in a timely manner To record quotations and all associated information in the required manner. To ensure new and repeat orders are entered, acknowledged correctly and concisely To liaise with Customers, Design Engineers and Production to arrive at a viable cost and timely solution for the client To manage customer expectations identify and log potential customers for future sales follow ups To visit customers and/or their projects when required Technical Estimator Position Requirements Previous experience in an estimator position is a must Exposure to the construction industry Ability to produce BOM's Technical Sales / Internal Sales advantageous Experience in a Metal Fabrication background Ability to read engineering drawings Building positive relationships with customers to identify their needs and improve frequency of purchase Identify and secure new business Strong communication skills & excellent telephone manner Technical Estimator Position Remuneration Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
