Life Ninja specialise in creating accessible and engaging apps for primary schools, they are now looking to grow their small team through the addition of a Software Developer Apprentice. The opportunity is excellent for anyone looking to start a career as a developer with a particular interest in app and web development. Within their Middlesbrough based office, the apprentice will use code to develop apps and web interfaces whilst sharpening their skills in a variety of areas. The right candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about getting their foot in the door in Software Development. Find out more about information about Life Ninja here: https://lifeninja.net/ Roles & Responsibilities: Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Coding and developing software Creating and maintaining web interfaces Working with iOS and Google Begin to develop apps as they develop their skills and grow their independence within the role. Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and Life Ninja. Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge: Self-motivated Confident personality Good Communication Skills Passionate about tech and IT Can work in a small team environments Basic understanding of some coding languages. Grade 4 GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 English Grade 4 GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 Maths Salary, Hours & Benefits: £11,700 per annum 9am to 5pm (30 mins for lunch) 21 days holiday Bank Holidays Free parking There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
