Overview

Protection Security & HSE Partner Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours Salary: £35,000 start - rising to £37,000 on completion of probation. Task Specification The successful candidate is tasked with ensuring a level of protection to company assets, its employees and visitors, together with the required coordination in the event of an emergency. Directly reporting to the General Manager & indirectly to the Corporate Protection Security Services. The individual will oversee the day-to-day security operations & HSE of the site. This is a (Outsourced / Contracted Security-HSE Function) Job Description Management a guard force and be conversant with PSI Act 2010 Ensure the manned guarding team are fully trained on aspects of HSE and Corporate Security Ensure accountability for the security team and oversee all Recruitment & Training along with annual appraisals and training development Act as advisory to the Site Management Maintain a cross collaboration with emergency services i.e. Police & Fire with quarterly meetings. Ensure all FCM / HSE observation forms submitted by guards are actioned Liaise with Contractors to ensure smooth effective running of on-site operations at site and be familiar with RAMS. Oversee aspects of Key Control / Access Control with monthly audits. Main Gate- Reception- Master Keys systems Conduct annual Site Security Assessments & Audits in line with company policy Main contact in relation to general building security Submit incident reports when required via the Crime Management Reporting System Maintain all central audit records to include restricted area concept Maintain control of BCM and all associated documents. Enter monthly data required for Co2 Neutrality. Record and investigate all accidents and near miss situations. Qualifications / Required Minimum of 3 years management experience Recognisable Security Management Experience A valid SIA License Computer Literate ( Microsoft / Excel) NEBOSH General Able to conduct travel Excellent communication skill Must be able to report at a senior level. Auditing experience WEE Regulations Conversant with MHSWR Conversant with RRFA 2006 Understanding of COSHH / RIDDOR Suitable individuals will have had experience at a middle management level gained in a similar environment working in corporate security / HSE Cordant Security Ltd is a nationwide company with a diverse employee team and we welcome applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates.
