Nurse Consultant (Health Protection) - Home-based Salary: £30.59 - £33.85 PER HOUR / approx. £250 Per day Type: 3 month rolling contract / 37 hours per week Location: Walsall / Role will be home-based but will have occasional visits to the site. * You will be managing a Health and Well-being Service, heading up an infection control team * This is a strategic role where you will be helping to build a service * Liaising with key professionals. The role is based around infection control - You will be supporting the service to combat infection as a result of Covid-19 and making a real strategic difference * Home-based role - The majority of work is home based (with some visits to the site in Walsall) - Able to fit this work around your personal life and have a better work/life balance. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in health protection and the ability to demonstration direction and leadership. You will have experience in commissioning services and setting up structures to ensure legislative requirements and have experience in acute or community health settings. Clinical expertise and professional health protection advise is highly desirable. Requirements: * Registered General Nurse with NMC Registration * Relevant qualifications including infection prevention (or equivalent) and master's degree in relevant subject * Previous experience in team management * Enhanced Children and Adult's DBS If you have the relevant qualifications, experience and looking for something that is both rewarding and challenging, we would like to hear from you.
