Procurement Executive - £22000-£23000 - Borehamwood Company Our client is one of Europe's leading Suppliers of IT Products and Services to the Corporate and Public Sector Trade markets. Employing over 800 people nationwide our client has cemented top-level relationships with global manufacturers including HP, Dell, Checkpoint, Symantec and Microsoft to offer the best technology and the best price. Role The Procurement Executive will take charge of all purchasing / procurement / buying activities from pricing and supplier negotiation, through to working closely with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure stock is delivered on time and orders fulfilled. The Purchasing Executive will build relationships across a range of tiered suppliers placing orders from £500 to £1,000,000. Requirements The successful Procurement Executive must have an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to negotiate and improve tight margins, backed up by sound commercial judgement and a common sense approach. Purchasing experience within IT software or hardware, or other relevant high volume low margin product is preferred.
