Overview
The Company: Our client is a well established ladies fashion supplier in Manchester, providing high quality on trend styles to leading High Street. Due to expansion they are now looking to recruit an experienced Merchandiser to help run accounts and provide support to the team. The Role: Looking after the general day to day office responsibilities and supporting junior members of staff. Maintaining the critical path and production dates. Liaising with Far East factories. Managing high volume orders for High Street customers. Building a good customer relationship and ensure their needs are met. Negotiating prices, delivery dates and bookings. Raising purchase orders, managing product costings and logistics data. Responsible for goods in / out and forecast stock levels. Managing invoices and maintaining accurate records on Excel. Update spreadsheets and databases with the critical order information. Take responsibility for the critical path to ensure orders are kept on time. Managing supplier performance, efficiency, order, stock levels and profitability. Maintain the delivery dates and bookings for deliveries to customers. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders etc. Other duties as required. Skills Required: Experience within the Fashion & Textile industry. Experienced in leading & managing a small team is desirable. Excellent level of IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Photoshop. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload, complete deadlines, and motivate the team to perform to their maximum potential. Positive and Hardworking attitude towards company goals.
