MP Apparel ( is a new brand sports apparel brand born from our largest brand in THG, Myprotein. The Role: The role will report directly into the Head of Merchandising and will involve working closely with the category Buying, Design and Trading teams to support and facilitate informed buying decisions, maximising availability as well as supporting the budgeted sales and profit growth of the division. Duties and Responsibilities: Main duties and responsibilities will include the following: Managing Intake and Deliveries: * Working closely with the Head of Merchandising and Junior team members to manage intake within intake and stock targets * Updating the daily intake and delivery figures to create monthly forecast * Monitoring intake to meet monthly stock targets * Working with Junior team members and Buying team to manage Critical Path in-line with brand and product launches * Ensuring intake forecast is updated weekly for the warehouse to assist with planning * Point of escalation with the warehouse for any discrepancies Sales Analysis and Weekly Reporting: * Managing reports to produce Weekly Sales Packs * Managing daily Availability and Allocation across all Warehouse locations to drive actions * Running Stock Pack to monitor Aged stock * Weekly Sell through, best and worst sellers, brand contribution reports * Regular analysis of key collections and categories to assist in range planning * Sales forecasts for all collections and categories to identify stock gaps/requirements * Ad hoc reports for sales analysis as required to support Buying and Design * Ad hoc reports for sales analysis to support Trading mechanisms Purchase Order Management: * Manage PO sign off against confirmed budget * Updating budgets with value to maintain running totals * Working with Junior members to monitor past delivery dates and closing POs accordingly * Running weekly goods-in report to produce % intake by category and PO Stock Management: * Continually evaluate product performance to inform and propose decisions on repeat orders and trading mechanisms * Range rationalisation on Core Range and NOOS products * Liaising with the Buyers to maintain Core Range classifications, MOQs (minimum order quantities), cost breaks and lead time detail. * Working with Traders to propose Price Markdowns and Clearance activity within profit and stock targets * Working closely within Trade Calendar to inform target clearance SKUs and create markdown lists. * Working closely with Head of Merchandising to produce seasonal sale Markdowns Requirements * Candidate should be an established Merchandiser who is ready for the step up to Senior level * Experience in the sports apparel market is desired but not essesntial * Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment * Be commercially aware with a trading mentality * Ideal but not essential, would have experience of working within Fashion industry * Ideally have experience managing Junior team members Benefits * Competitive salary * Company pension scheme * Onsite Doctor * Employee discounts across THG brands * Company bonus scheme * Opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies/brands in the UK * Real career progression
