A focus on in-house produced and exclusive products through our print on demand facility, has accelerated evolution of the sites away from traditional entertainment retailers towards growing Merchandise and Collectible markets - an area we plan to continue our investment in. We are looking for creative, innovative, and resourceful people to come and join us on our exciting journey About the Role: We are looking for passionate and ambitious people who love a challenge. You will learn all there is to know about merchandising, working alongside our buying and trading teams supporting in the availability of our brands. As our own brand Print on Demand business continues its rapid growth, we are looking for a confident Assistant/Junior Merchandiser to join our expanding team. We are ideally looking at a candidate with 1-2 years' experience looking to make their next step up as a merchandiser. At THG, we encourage and promote growth and exploration within your role and as such, the below list gives only a summary of the role remit: * Maintaining the delivery schedules and reporting on incoming stocks on a weekly basis - controlling and overseeing weekly intake in line with departmental requirements * Liaising with long lead time suppliers and warehouse to ensure an effecting landing of stock - prioritising intake where necessary * Managing all print on demand WSSI's and reporting on availability to the wider team - working to resolve stock/delivery issues with a strong understanding of commercial impact * Responsible for replenishing stock and maximising sales - managing and running order replenishment reporting and ensuring detailed analysis in order to get the right quantities on order * Forecasting sales at SKU level, using sales history, lost sales/sell through calculations and future business plans to prepare order quantities * Provide the Senior Merchandiser and Buying team with previous season analytics at product in order to best inform future buys * Review processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to ensure they are fit for purpose as the business grows * Raise purchase orders and monitor stock levels - checking payments, invoices, delivery notes against packing lists and purchase orders Requirements * 1-2 years Industry experience * Ambitious, team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment * Self-motivated and impeccable attention to detail * Be commercially aware with a trading mentality * Analytical mind-set Benefits * Competitive salary. * Genuine responsibility from the start of your career at THG. * Discounted Gym membership. * Access to onsite doctor. * Enrolled onto company pension plan. * Leadership and Development training throughout your career.
