POSITION: Multi-skilled Fitter SALARY: 28K PA. BENEFITS: Nest Pension, Statutory Sick & Holiday Pay, EAP, Work Clothing, Business-Use Vehicle HOURS: Full-time-8AM-5PM LOCATION: Colchester CO1 1PJ DESCRIPTION: Our client is a specialist home adaptations company working for the Elderly and Disabled throughout East Anglia, predominantly Essex and Suffolk. The company is now seeking a Multi-skilled Fitter to join the team. This is a full-time position to work on predominantly grant funded projects, however, we do also carry out private adaptations. You will be working with a client base that includes vulnerable sectors of society and as such the business is looking for someone with empathy, patience and great customer service skills. A clear criminal history is required, and a standard DBS will be carried out (paid for by the company) pending an offer of employment. The successful applicant will have on-site support from a visiting Project Manager and administrative support from head office. The successful applicant will require the following abilities and proven skills: Bathroom adaptation/Installation minimum of 5 years recent experience Plumbing experience relevant to the above Basic carpentry including hanging doors Good wall tiling Painting and decorating Basic plastering Empathy, patience and great customer service skills Able to pass a standard DBS - clear criminal history In order to apply please send a C.V and covering letter by clicking on the apply button below.
