Overview
Our Client is a leading Tier 2 supplier to the Automotive and Aerospace industries, supplying a range of Aluminium and Zinc Die cast components as well as sheet metal stampings which are supplied to Tier 1 and OEM organisations. They now seek to engage an experienced Quality Manager to operate across both the foundry and stamping areas of the business. Quality Manager Role: · You will be supported by a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians in achieving high levels of quality standards to meet the demands of world class customers in the Automotive and off-highway/yellow goods sectors. · You will need to take a leading, strategic role within the Group and make recommendations for new quality methods as well as assessing and improving existing procedures. · As well as operating at a strategic level, you will also need to take a hands-on role in the implementation and maintenance of all quality processes. Quality Manager Requirements: · You will ideally come from a similar manufacturing background within either a Tier 1 or OEM organisation with proven experience of relevant foundry, stamping and machining methods (Zinc and Aluminium castings, CNC machining, stamping [from 250 to 1000 Tonne] presses). · Experience of NPI useful, but not essential. · This is a diverse role and you will need to have a flexible and proactive attitude. · You will ideally be degree qualified in an engineering/manufacturing subject.
