Overview
One of the most recognised and successful retailers on the high street is seeking experienced Merchandisers to join their expanding team. As a Merchandiser you will need to demonstrate high level strategic thinking in order to build the range with the Buying team. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, key responsibilities will be: Reviewing product sales on a daily basis and make commercial decisions to manage the flow of stock Attending pre-selection and selection meetings with Buying and suppliers Managing the range plan in-season The creation of OTBs To be successful as a Merchandiser you will need: To thrive working in a fast-moving and demanding merchandising department To be highly numerate with strong commercial focus The ability to manage large budgets Currently operating at an experienced Junior Merchandiser or current Merchandiser level with experience of planning & trading own ranges Retail merchandising experience from another leading bricks & mortar focused retailer In return you will expect to receive a competitive basic salary plus discretionary bonus scheme, pension, 25 days holidays and generous staff discount.
