Unix, Linux, System Administrator, SA, Red Hat, VMware, Banking, London, c£470pd A growing bank based in London are looking to add an experienced Unix/Linux System Administrator to join their Unix/Linux Infrastructure team, responsible for the maintenance, configuration, support and documentation of the banks Linux Redhat estate EMEA wide. This is a fantastic chance to join a growing bank that are really on the front-foot. Responsibilities Systems administration of Unix and Red Hat Linux estate Support, configuration, planning, documentation for Red Hat Linux estate. Provide out of hours support in response to incidents on an on-call rota basis Work within and follow ITIL best practice and principles Ensure incidents are logged and documented and managed according to Proble Management SLA’s. Support, configuration, planning, documentation and projects for VMware and Oracle VM, OVM virtual environment. Scripting reports using scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell or Perl. Essentials RHEL 5/6/7. Red Hat Satellite. DNS & Domain management. Shell scripting. Desirables VMWare. OVM. Ansible. Puppet. Check Point. Squid. Solaris. Oracle/Sybase.
