Job Title: Technical Insurance Broker - Commercial and Corporate Insurance Location: Manchester Package: GBP28,000 - GBP32,000 Industry: Insurance Broking, Commercial Insurance, Corporate Insurance, Job Type: Permanent _________________________________________________________________________________ We are working alongside a well-known, family owned independent broker to assist with finding a Senior/Technical broker to working directly alongside one of the business owners portfolio. There clients are a mix of Commercial and Corporate clients, some of which with quite complex needs. The Company · With a genuine local footprint and a reputation as the leading household name, this business boasts a solid home for any insurance professional · Innovative and entrepreneurial, the business have recently gone through a solid period of growth, which they have invested in technological advancements and increasing head count The Role · You will join the client service team, dealing with a range of complex client accounts - acting as the day to day contact to one of the business shareholders · The role is a real mix of technical, commercial and administrative tasks and requires a real all-rounder - your day will encompass providing advice and answers to queries as well as administering amendments and adjustments or identifying areas to improve upon the solution. · You will attend new business and renewal meetings alongside one of the Directors to build and nurture relationships. · You will also hold regular interaction with the open market, sourcing and securing favourable terms, rates and products for your clients. You · As an experienced account broker, you will demonstrate a background in servicing, administering and broking large corporate, bespoke cases. · You will be technically strong and knowledgably, able to advise clients with confidence as well as negotiating with the market to place business favourably. · Exposure to large and complex insurance clients · A mix of communication and relationship skills is essential, coupled with outstanding technical knowledge and the ability to deliver advice with confidence. · DIP CII qualification, or work towards is advantageous, although not essential.
