Supplier Quality Manager Permanent position Competitive annual salary and package Commutable from Brighton and Portsmouth areas Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Manager? Do you have experience working in the Automotive industry? If so, our client is a world class specialist in the design of protection systems. They design, develop, prototype and produce armoured products for the military, security and the government, this is really cool and exciting work Supplier Quality Manager Job Description · Reporting directly into the Director of Procurement, you’ll be focusing on supplier development and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain · Lead a develop a small supplier quality assurance team · Create and deliver a supplier quality assurance strategy · Build and maintain strong relationships with customers internal & external/suppliers · Understand and comply with Company policies and procedures (ISO9001, ISO14001 etc) · Lead and support cost reduction activities through the supply chain, with a focus on quality Supplier Quality Manager Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications · Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance to minimum SC level · Relevant qualification in a quality engineering discipline or relevant experience · Proven track record of supplier development in manufacturing and engineering environment (ideally Automotive) · Willing to travel in UK and internationally as required Supplier Quality Manager Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications · Knowledge of welding procedures and processes and visual inspection of welded components · Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other TQM methodology
